Dr. Morgan

Lyndon W. Morgan, M.D. has practiced on the coast since 1986. He was raised in Massachusetts and Ohio and graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and continued there to complete his residency in ophthalmology. Dr. Morgan is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.



He is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons. Dr. Morgan's practice focuses on the surgical treatment of cataracts, medical and laser treatment of glaucoma, minor oculoplastic procedures, and comprehensive eye care.

Serena A. Morrison, MD, is pleased to be moving back to her native Maine. She provides comprehensive ophthalmology services. Dr. Morrison received her MD degree from Georgetown Medical School in Washington, DC, in 2001. Subsequently, she was a fellow at the National Eye Institute (a division of the National Institute of Health), where she undertook cornea research. During the same period, she attended George Washington University for graduate work in public health.

She moved to West Virginia in 2004 to be part

of the ophthalmology residency program at West Virginia University. Serena

became a faculty member at the WVU Eye Institute in January 2008. She was also part of a private practice in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Morrison enjoys welding and other artistic

pursuits. She has traveled the world - including all seven continents. She enjoys spending time with her two boys when she is not working.

Lynne Kaplinsky, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma. She specializes in adult and pediatric comprehensive ophthalmology care including routine eye examinations, prescription of glasses, and the care of various eye diseases including cataract, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and laser treatment of retinal tears.



Dr. Kaplinsky completed medical school at Albany Medical College in 1992 after graduating from Williams College in Massachusetts. She completed her ophthalmology residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland, in Cleveland, Ohio. She then served as a glaucoma fellow at Tuft’s University/Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, in Boston, Massachusetts. Lynne has been practicing Ophthalmology in Maine since 1997. Prior to joining Midcoast Vision Care in Rockland, she worked at Hoyt Eye Care Center, Maine Coast Eye Care and Atlee Gleaton Eye Care.

Dr. Kaplinsky is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Maine Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and the New England Ophthalmology Society

In addition to all of this, Lynne enjoys her other passions in life including a love of the outdoors, running, hiking, skiing, tennis and spending time with her four children. Lynne lives in Rockport, ME with her youngest child, Cameron, her dog, Opal and two cats.
